'Textural Blueprints' , an exhibition of paintings by Sanatan Saha will be held from October 15 onwards at Gallery Gitanjali, Panaji. Sanatan Saha hails from a small village near Santiniketan in West Bengal. His works are deeply rooted in the textural variety that is found in his village. Through his 34 works , Sanatan showcases a magnificent display of textural density and visual complexity. He plays with the various textures creating parallels of natural and fabricated forms. Saha’s fascination for these textures can be traced back to his childhood in his village. He almost obsessively and compulsively peruses the demarcations of nature. His paintings are amalgamations of the concrete and the ephemeral. Symbolic references also gently raise their heads amidst this textural complexity. The exhibition will continue till November 15.
