LONDON, AUGUST 2
A Goa Day dance and music show will be organised on August 2 at The Dandelions, 69 Whitton Road, Hounslow-London from 8 pm onwards.
Music will be presented by Goa’s DJ Macattak along with the band '24K India'.
LONDON, AUGUST 3
The Goan Association UK will organise the ‘The UK Goan Festival – The Original Goa Day’ at the Cranford Community College grounds, on August 3 from 11 am to 8 pm.
A Mass at 11 am will be celebrated by Bishop Emeritus of Bombay Agnelo Gracias and concelebrated by the Goan Chaplaincy in the UK. The Choir will be led by Rythmix and opera singer Oscar Castelino will also lead the congregation.
During the festival, the main acts will include Black in White, Ryan Nogar, Mac Attack, Rhythm Mates featuring Bismarc, West Coast, Silver Notes, DJ Quincy, DJ Velfern, Cielda Pereira, Princeton Colaco, Fredrick & Sharlotte (Portuguese Dance), Eric Goan, Risma & Joanro, Daneera Rodrigues, Lanisha & Delisha, Bab Andrew, Maria and Jayden Carvalho, and Anthony Marques.
Other activities include the Tilda Stall comprising Free games, activities and promos, Fairground rides for kids and adults, Raffle draw to support the Goan Chaplaincy and the Pilar Fathers, Food Stall to support the Beatification Ven. Fr. Agnelo de Souza and a Portuguese Consulate Information Desk. A Portuguese delegation will be attending along with representatives from the Indian High Commission, Local Councils and the UK government.
