Calangute police arrested a youth from Sonitpur-Assam on charges of possessing drugs valued at Rs 56,000 at Calangute. Police received information that a sale of drugs was to take place near the Dongarpur Junction in Porbawaddo and conducted a raid. The accused, Amrit Fatik Nath (27) was nabbed along with 566.5 grams of ganja valued at Rs 56,000. The accused has been arrested under the NDPS Act and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Rajaram Bagkar.
