PANAJI: The 5th annual Healthcare Management Conclave, hosted by the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) on September 21, will focus on the future of healthcare, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), start-ups, and the integration of Ayurveda with modern medicine. The theme is ‘Future of Healthcare: Bridging Divergence through Disruptions.’
Key panellists include Giri Athuluru, president at ExperienceFlow.ai, Dr. Raajiv Singhal, MD and CEO at Marengo Asia Healthcare, Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Manoj Nesari, director at the All India Institute of Ayurveda, and Prof. Sanjay Kinra, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
The event will bring together healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and academics from India and abroad to explore the latest innovations reshaping healthcare. Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Parulekar, director at GIM, emphasised the role of new technologies and start-ups in transforming healthcare services.
The conclave will feature three panels: ‘AI/ML – Charting the Future,’ discussing how AI and ML are improving healthcare; ‘Start-ups Leading Disruptive Change,’ highlighting the role of start-ups; and ‘Bridging Traditions: Ayush’s Holistic Evolution,’ focusing on the integration of Ayurveda with modern medicine. Prof. Ajay Vamadevan, chair of Healthcare Management at GIM, noted these changes are supported by government initiatives and venture capital.
