National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. in association with GSIA ( Goa State Industries Association) and AIBI (Association of Investment Bankers of India) organised an Interactive Workshop on “SME IPO Awareness” at Goa on March 13. The event was attended by select group of around 30 SME promoters in the State. The workshop was chaired by the Chief Guest Jitendra Kumar, General Manager, SEBI who shared his invaluable perspectives on SME IPO ecosystem. The event featured an in-depth presentation on the NSE Emerge Platform alongside a high impact panel discussion on “Demystifying the SME IPO Journey “bringing together key stakeholders: Krishnan Iyer, Senior Vice President, NSE ; Dr Milind Dalvi, CEO AIBI and the representatives from merchant banker Flookup Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd. Pradip da Costa, President, Goa State Industries Association (GSIA), said “We are taking focused efforts to grow and nurture the SMEs of our state. We had an interactive workshop on SME IPO at Goa with NSE to encourage eligible SMEs to tap the capital market for growth opportunities. Listing on NSE Emerge platform shall provide SMEs of our state to get the desired visibility and credibility on a global scale.”
