The Konkan railway Police station has nabbed and arrested one accused person namely Pramod Kumar aged 19, a native of Rajasthan after he was found in illegal possession of narcotic drug i.e. ganja weighing 703 gms, worth Rs 70300. The drug has been seized under search and seizure Panchanama along with other articles. The team led by PI Rahul Naik comprising of PSI Kunal Verlekar, PSI Roosevelt Fernandes, HC Brijesh Naik, PC Chandan Thakur, PC Amar Gaonkar PC Vasim Sheik, PC Sanjay Gaonkar, all of Konkan Railway Police Station were drafted for the job which led to the detection of crime and seizure of the narcotics. An offense under section 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act-1985 stands registered against the accused.
