PANAJI: Samraat Club of Panaji, in association with Udant Foundation, Ethernet Express and the Rotary Club of Dona Paula, organised a special Christmas outreach programme that brought cheer to 150 underprivileged children from tin-roof settlements in and around the city. The full-day event featured a star-making contest, games, food, gifts, cultural performances and a magic show by Ram Naik. A face-painting booth was conducted by Renu Kalangutkar and her team, adding colour to the celebrations. Ethernet Express supported the programme as the gifting partner, while the Rotary Club of Dona Paula provided snacks and Udant Foundation coordinated networking support. Ankita Patil served as the judge for the star-making contest.
The programme was led by Samraat Club Panaji president Anju Desai, with members Shainaz Abu Khan, Anagha Warlikar and Manjeet Bedi overseeing the arrangements. State President of SCI Shashikant Punaji attended as chief guest. Guests of honour included Mahesh Naik and Rohidas Naik. Also present were Pravin Sabnis, Anita Periera and Azmeena, along with other members, marking the occasion with a message of care and community bonding.
