PANAJI: Organ Donation Ambassador Gabriel Pereira of MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness session for officers and staff of the Goa Legislative Secretariat at Porvorim on June 16. Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Mahesh Gaonkar inaugurated the programme. Pereira explained organ donation laws, brain stem death and India’s opt-in system. Around 80 officers and staff attended, while 20 participants pledged to donate their organs.
