MAPUSA: The Goa Bank Employees’ Association conducted an outreach programme for students of Goa Vidyaprasarak Mandal’s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturkar College of Commerce and Economics, Ponda, on Saturday. The programme, aimed at creating awareness about banking careers, was conducted by Nilesh Pednekar, assisted by Namrata Dessai and Anish Sambari.
The students were briefed on vacancies in nationalised banks across the country, including Goa, and the recruitment examinations conducted for various posts. They were also guided on examination strategies and ways to improve their chances of qualifying. The college faculty appreciated the presentation and the information shared with the students. The association had earlier conducted a similar outreach programme on August 8 at Saraswat Higher Secondary School of Commerce in Korlim, Mapusa.
