MARGAO: A free mega health check-up camp organised under the guidance of social worker Warren Alemao in association with Victor Hospital drew around 500 people from across the Benaulim Constituency on Saturday. The camp aimed to make healthcare and specialist medical consultations more accessible to residents. Services included general health check-ups, ECGs, specialist consultations and health advice. Specialist consultations were provided in orthopaedics, cardiology, pulmonology, urology, paediatrics, general surgery and physiotherapy.
Alemao thanked the medical team, local representatives, volunteers and residents for their participation. He said similar health camps would be organised every six months to provide residents with regular access to health screening, specialist consultations and professional guidance. The organisers also thanked Victor Hospital, Panchayat representatives, volunteers and supporters for their assistance in conducting the camp.
