The traditional crowning of Our Lady of Fatima in the courtyard of Mâe de Deus Chapel at Gaunsavaddo-Siolim will be held on May 1 at 5 pm. On the occasion, a young maiden from the vaddo is chosen to crown the statue – usually one who is to marry within the coming year. This year, Evita Fernandes will do the honours of crowning Mother Mary's statue. The crowning will be followed by the Holy Rosary, Mass and the Novena of the feast of Mâe de Deus.
