PANAJI: A discussion on Goa Director General of Police Alok Kumar’s poetry collection, Saajhe Lamho Ki Mahak, explored the relationship between nature, human emotions and poetic expression at PES’s Ravi S Naik College, Farmagudi. Kumar said nature and human beings were closely connected, adding that poetry inspired by nature naturally touched the heart. He said his poems drew on life experiences, encounters with nature and changing seasons.
The programme was organised by the college’s Department of Hindi in collaboration with Prayas Sanstha, Goa. Department head Prof Sandeep Lotlikar identified love and nature as central themes, noting that the poems explored life and relationships through simple language. A K Mishra described the collection as an exploration of life. The programme was attended by college president Ritesh R Naik, principal Prof Vikas Pisurlekar, teachers, students and literature enthusiasts.
