‘Dalgado Konknni Akademi,’ will felicitate Premanand Lotlikar on the occasion of his 70th birthday on July 14 at 5:30 pm at Daivadnya Bhavan, Calconda, Margao. Tomazinho Cardozo, Former Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly and Former President of Dalgado Konknni Academy and N Shivdas will be the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. Premanand Lotlikar was a lover of Konkani in Roman Script right from his childhood and thus was attracted towards the Konkani khell-tiatr. He became one of the topmost artists of khell tiatr and came to be known as one of the best writer and director of khell tiatr in the 1980s. As a lover of Konkani, he was publishing a monthly magazine “Mog” in Konkani Roman Script. He acted in number of famous tiatrs in Goa, Maharastra & Karnataka. His acting was recognized by the MAN OF THE YEAR Award in 1987. He has contributed immensely to DKA in promoting Konkani in Roman Script.
