The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) will hold a seminar on ‘Succession & Estate Planning’ on July 12 at 4.30-7 pm at GCCI convention hall in Panaji. Organised by its Taxation & Financial Services Committee, the seminar would provide valuable insights and knowledge on various aspects of succession and estate planning, a topic of significant importance for individuals and professionals alike. The topics to be covered are ‘Overview of Portuguese Civil Code and Recent Amendments in Succession Law in Goa, Succession & Estate Planning, Key Considerations for Drafting Wills, Setting up Private Trust Structures, Dispute Resolutions and Tax Perspectives in Succession Planning. The guest speakers are Neha Pathak, head, Trust & Estate Planning, Motilal Oswal Wealth Ltd and Ashish Bhakta, founding partner, ANB Legal. This seminar is open to all and free of charge.
