Panaji JMFC has remanded Valpoi woman Vishranti Gawas, accused of kidnapping an infant from the GMC premises, to five days of police custody. While the month-old infant has been reunited with his biological mother, Gawas languishes in the Agassaim lock-up. Meanwhile, the police are planning to conduct the necessary DNA test to confirm the identity of the child’s biological mother.
