Panaji: Nostalgia and evergreen Hindi film music came together at Jazbaat – Episode 3, presented by the Ganga Zuari Academy in association with the Rajdeep Group of Companies at IMB, Panaji, on Sunday evening.
The musical programme featured performers from different walks of life, celebrating songs that have remained part of generations’ collective memory.
The evening opened with a welcome address by Dr Mukhopadhyay, former Director of the Mauritius Oceanography Institute, followed by a Ganesha Vandana by Rajesh Tarkar. Sagar Naik Bandiwadekar, Siraj Pai Khot, Rupali Thali, Deepa Tarkar, Ashish Gaonkar and Rajesh Tarkar performed classics, while young performers Shravya Thali and Armaan Tarkar added an intergenerational touch. Episode 4 will be held on November 29 at the ICG.
