MARGAO: Goa Police edge past Youth Club of Manora 2-1 in the GFA First Division league, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Saturday.
Goa Police dominated the game and surged ahead in the 55th minute when Shubham Shirwaikar slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snap shot.
After taking the lead, the cops continued in same vein and attack the rival citadel when Mayuresh Naik punished the rival goalkeeper with a nice placement shot in the 77th minute. Youth Club of Manora pulled one back through in the 86th minute through Ryay Joseph Dias.
