MARGAO: Benaulim B secured their place in the next round of the Benaulim Constituency Veterans Football Tournament with a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout win over Orlim Veterans at Varca ground on Tuesday.
The match saw Benaulim B take an early lead through Jose in the 6th minute, but Orlim Veterans quickly responded with an equaliser from Alex in the 10th minute. With the score tied after regulation time, the match went to penalties, where Benaulim B proved more accurate from the spot.
