PANAJI: Vedanta Computer Centre was inaugurated by Bicholim MLA Dr Chandrakant Shetye in the presence of Kundan Falari, Bicholim Municipal Council chairperson, Sachin Desai, chief officer Bicholim Municipal Council along with Santosh Mandrekar, head of the North and Central Cluster Mining, Sesa Goa, and others.
The centre will train over 300 aspiring youngsters every year from Bicholim and peripheral villages and offer various certification courses, including a comprehensive 6-month training programme covering a range of topics including computer fundamentals, basic programming, web development, and so on, which will help the local youth pursue employment opportunities.
