The Directorate of Art and Culture will be presenting the ‘Goa State Cultural Award’, ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar’ & Best Cultural Institution Award to young and eminent personalities from the field of Art & Culture at a function on December 15, at 3 pm at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji.
Minister for Art & Culture, Govind Gaude will be the Chief Guest of the function and Secretary for Art & Culture, Sanjay Gihar, IAS will attend the function as Guest of Honour.
This year, the Directorate of Art & Culture will be honouring 13 eminent personalities, 1 Cultural institution and 9 young artists from the field of Art & Culture. The awards such as ‘Goa State Cultural Award’, ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar’ and ‘Best cultural Institution Award’ will be presented towards their contribution & achievements in their respective art forms like music, drama/tiatr, folk art, bhajan, kirtan, craft, literature, painting, etc.
The Government of Goa through the Department of Art & Culture is implementing various schemes, projects, programmes for the benefit of young artists, eminent personalities and cultural institutions from the State of Goa.
