Department of Computer Applications of Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim, conducted the 12th edition of the National Level Technology Festival Noesis 2023 on January 27 and 28. 14 teams, including 4 from other states, took part. Noesis featured events grouped under four categories which tested the diverse abilities of the participants namely, coding, multimedia processing, web designing, critical thinking and ability to express. During the inaugural ceremony, Principal, Prof. Helic Barretto thanked the principals of various colleges for deputing their students for the event. He underscored that students at such events get the opportunity to organise events and learn skills in decision making, planning, fundraising and public relations. In his address to the students, the Administrator of the college, Rev. Fr Gabriel Coutinho spoke on the need to unlearn, relearn, create, adapt and innovate, and appreciated the Chief Guest Malcolm D’Souza for his return to Goa to share his knowledge with others. KLE College of Commerce-BCA, Belagavi was declared champion and the runner-up position was awarded to Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao.
