PANAJI: The North Goa District Athletics Association announced that the following athletes have been selected to represent the North District Goa team for the 19th National inter-district junior meet to be held at Sardar Patel Sports city, Gujarat Navrangpura Ahmedabad from February 16 to 18.
U-14 Boys: Hasan Raja (Triathlon B), Johan Kress (Triathlon C)
U-14 Girls: Heena Shaikh (Triathlon B), Shyla Naik (Triathlon C)
U-16 Boys: Stefano Alvares (SP), Rehan Chappard(600 mtrs), Pritesh Gawas(HJ), Brijesh Nagvekar(JT), Bernedict Castelino (Pentathlon)
U-16 Girls: Zara Bajaj(SP), Minoshka Pereira(JT), Kazia Almeida (80mt H), Cindrella Pawar(600mt)
The above athletes must report to coach Desiree Pereira on January 23, at Bambolim stadium, at 3:30 pm.
