MARGAO: Rossman Cruz SC, Nagoa defeated Wilred Leisure SC, Curtorim 6-5 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals in the Navelim villagers Union Trophy, organised by Navelim Villagers Union.
The first half score was 2-0 in favour of Wilred Leisure. Aliston Fernandes scored a brace in the 10th and 22nd minutes for Wilred. In the second half, Joyston Pinto and Ajay Satakar found the net for Rossman Cruz in the 43rd and 48th minutes respectively.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Rossman Cruz SC scored through Christo, Joyston, Manuel and Kevin while Aliston, Marcus and Maldinio were on target for Wilred Leisure SC.
Joyston Pinto was awarded the man of the match by Mario Xavier.
