Sadbhavana Diwas is observed nationwide annually on August 20 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India, to promote National Integration and Communal Harmony amongst people of all religions, languages and regions to eschew violence and to promote goodwill.
On this occasion, the chief secretary will garland the portrait of the late Rajiv Gandhi and will administer the “Sadbhavana Pledge” at 10 am on August 20, 2021, in the open space at the Secretariat in Porvorim.
