MARGAO: Tokyo 2020 Olympics bronze medalist Joana Mader & Anouk Verge-Depre of Switzerland claimed their first Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour medal after defeating German pair of Karla Borger & Sandra Ittlinger 2-0 (21-19 21-16) to clinch gold at the Goa Challenge.
In the Men's final, Austria's Robin Seidl & Moritz Pristsuz came back from match point to snatch a well deserved victory against Spain duo of Pablo Herrera & Adrian Gavira 2-1 (18-21 21-16 17-15).
The English pair of Joaquin Bello & Javier Bello settled for bronze in the men's section while and Spain's Daniela Alvares & Tania Moreno claimed bronze in the women's category.
