A total of 24 participants, including seven groups and 17 solo singers across three age categories, have been selected to perform at the Grand Finale of the Portuguese song contest Vem Cantar 2026 presented by Fundação Oriente in India and the Rosary College of Commerce & Arts The grand finale will be held on September 27 at 5 pm sharp at Ravindra Bhavan, Main Auditorium, Margao.
In the group category, the finalists are AS Melódicas, performing Oh Clementina; Bubby, performing Não temos tempo; Melodias do Sol, performing Ficar Oai; Nova Onda de Xavier, performing A Nossa vez; Os Conquistadores, performing Minas com Bahia; Os Ecos do Rosário, performing Trevo (tu); and Vozes do Coração, performing Maria Joana. The 8-11 years solo category has five finalists. Aiden Menezes will perform Cartas de amor, Chloe Ann Fernandes will sing Minh'Alma, Lara De Souza will perform Porto de abrigo, Lauryn Barreto will sing Com a minha taoda, while Manuel Cotta will perform Fado do estudante. In the 12-15 years category, the finalists are Daniella Quadros with Lisboa à noite, Eranah D'Silva with Porquê do fado, Nicole Barbosa with Desfado, Xiyan Almeida with O Pastor, Yarah D'Costa with Avião de papel and Zeun Rodrigues with Prometo. The 16 years and above category has six finalists. Annalee Menezes will perform Canção do mar, Neil Saldanha Quem me vê, Orsan Alvares Desalento, Ronan Valadares A Rosinha dos limões, Sherryn Faria Foi Deus and Valentino Alvares Guia.
