Vasco police on Tuesday arrested three youth in connection with a burglary in the port town and recovered the stolen property.
The accused have been identified as Shankar Alur (25) of Hubbali-Karnataka, Raju Golar (31) of Kharewado and Satish Reddy (30) of Vasco.
Adv Ulhas Shirodkar had filed a police complaint stating that burglars had broken into his flat and had stolen cash of Rs 40,000 and gold ornaments valued at Rs 1.5 lakh, all worth Rs 1.9 lakh. Vasco police arrested the three youth under Sections 454, 457, 380, r/w 34 IPC and recovered the stolen valuables and cash from them. The accused are presently remanded to judicial custody.
