Alarming rise in BP problems, strokes among youth: Health Minister

PORVORIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said there had been an alarming rise in blood pressure problems and strokes among those in the 25-35 age group.

He said many youth in the 25-35 age group are admitted with strokes in Goa Medical College Hospital, while some have uncontrolled blood pressure.

Claiming that these ailments were due to lifestyle shifts and urged youngsters to learn the significance of respecting their own lives.
