Absa's Hands of Helping & Serving-- An Initiative Of Abbas Rishtey and Sagar Prabhu Lawande in association with Bicholim Municipal Council and ward no 8 Councilor Aparna Latkar Fogueri celebrated the 4th Birthday ceremony of almond tree opposite KTC Bus Stand, Bicholim in the presence of Bicholim Municipal Council chief officer Kabir Shirgaonkar, Kundan Suresh Falari (Chairperson BMC),Councillor’s Aparna Fogueri, Vijaykumar Natekar, Nilesh Tople, Sukhada Teli, Ranjana Vaingankar, Ex-Councilor Ajit Birje Samruddhi Samruddhi Sunil Ganpule (Samruddhi Nursery), Absa member Sneha Arondekar and social Worker Kundan Fogueri. On that auspicious occasion felicitation of tree caretaker, distribution of plants saplings and free notebooks distribution to students were done. Kabir Shirgaonkar said it is a unique celebration. "Until you dig a hole, you plant a tree, water it and make it survive, you haven't done a thing. You are just talking," he said. Plant trees and save life was the message.
