Colvale Police seized a truck carrying illegally-mined sand near Camurlim ferry on Wednesday afternoon. Acting on a specific tip-off, police rushed near the Camurlim ferry and found some labourers loading illegally mined sand into the truck near the site. According to police, five cubic-metre of sand was loaded into the truck. Police have also detained two labourers who were engaged to load the sand for questioning. Colvale Police is investigating further under overall supervision of Colvale PI Vijaykumar Chodankar.
