CANACONA
The newly appointed office bearers of the Canacona Block Congress were installed at a function in the Shristhal Panchayat Hall on Monday. The new Canacona Block Congress comprises Block President Gaspar Coutinho, Siddharth Gayak (Convener, Canacona Block Congress Committee), Remy Dias (President, Canacona Block Minority Cell), Rosario Fernandes (Convener Canacona Block Minority Cell), Vaishal Pagi (President, Canacona Block Fishermen Cell), Kiran Zore (President, Canacona Block Dangar Cell), Dayanand Faldesai (Convener, Canacona Block Kisan Shakti Committee) and Effon Coutinho (President, Canacona Block Social Media Cell).
The induction and installation ceremony was attended by GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Kushavati District Congress Committee President Rajesh Verenkar, President of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Adv. Archit Naik, In-charge of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress and NSUI- Janardhan Bhandari, President of the Goa Pradesh Seva Dal Rajan Ghate, President of the Goa Pradesh OBC Department Sharad Chopdekar, members of the Goa Pradesh Congress Minority Department; and several senior Congress leaders, office bearers, party workers, and local leaders from Canacona. GPCC President Girish Chodankar and other Congress leaders congratulated the newly appointed team and emphasised the importance of strengthening the Congress organisation at the grassroots level.
