Decorations worth about Rs 2 lakh were burgled from a godown in Shetyewada, Torsem. According to reports, various materials used in the decoration business of Prakash Shetye were stored in the godown. A burglar broke the lock of the godown at night, entered the premises, and stole the decoration items. The burglary came to light when the owner went to open the godown in the morning. On receiving information, a police team conducted the panchanama and are currently conducting investigations. With business godowns being targeted, locals have demanded that the police increase patrolling to prevent burglaries at night.
