Cycle rally at Chicalim to mark Nat Youth Week

Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida on Saturday flagged off a cycle rally at Chicalim sports ground organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs on the occasion of National Youth Week, as part of an initiative for youth empowerment towards a Swayampurna Goa.

The rally, in association with JCI Vasco, witnessed many participants with cycles at the Chicalim Sports complex ground by around 8.30 am.

The rally began from Chicalim ground and cyclists went all the way to the MES College junction and returned to the Chicalim sports ground.

Speaking to reporters after the flagging off the cycle rally, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida said he was happy that a large number of youth had participated in the rally.

Speaking to media, Vasco JCI President Peter D’Souza said youth should come forward and unite for the betterment of Vasco city.
