To commemorate the Republic Day, Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) organised a programme of patriotic poetry recitation in Panaji. “Let us determine to live as per our Constitution, not by blaming others but enlightening our minds, using our authority, by truth and by respecting our pride, said Vincy Quadros, DKA president while speaking at the Desh Bhakti Kavita Utsav (patriotic poetry recitation) programme the occasion of 73rd Republic Day. Those who participated in the programme were Annie Arcanja Ferandes, Ana Tereza Ferreira Rodrigues, Blazel Pinto, Pio Esteves, William Fernandes, Michelle Coutinho, Dr Glenis Mendonca, Amazel Pinto, Mathew De Souza, Vincy Quadros, Narayan Khorjuvenkar and Vishal Khandeparkar. DKA secretary William Fernandes welcomed while the treasurer proposed the vote of thanks.
