Dr RG Wiseman Pinto addressed students at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Marine Lines and also conducted a similar programme at Dr DY Patil School of Medicine, Navi Mumbai earlier this week. He presented clinical, pathological, imaging and diagnostic approaches to systemic lesions, including infections, cancers, congenital diseases, autoimmune disorders and autopsy cases. The sessions were coordinated by Dr Rajiv Rao, Dean, Dr Sudhamani S., Professor and Head, and Dr Guirish Mujumdar, Head of Histopathology. An Emeritus Professor of Pathology and President of the South Asian Academy of Cytopathology and Histopathology, Dr Pinto was invited by the two leading medical institutions in Mumbai to conduct these postgraduate academic sessions. The programmes were highly interactive, with students engaging in detailed discussions. Dr Pinto also awarded prizes to meritorious participants.
