The third annual traditional Thanksgiving Mass of the Entertainment Industry of Goa (EIG) was held at Our Lady of Grace Church, Margao, on Gandhi Jayanti Day.
Fr Jose alias Joe Rodrigues, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Grace was the main celebrant and preached the homily. Fr Franco Cardozo, SFX, recited the 'Prayers of the Faithful'.
Fr Rodrigues who has been supportive of the EIG mass since its inception, in his homily prayed for Goa's talented entertainers which included every one of us who hire the entertainers of Goa for our events and occasions by which many families run, but of late due to Covid - 19, things were uncertain and rocky for the same homes that depend on their livelihood entirely on the entertainment industry. Radio Jockey, Rj Joed and Mc Succoro Dias, participated in the mass readings while Frazer Andrew Pacheco took care of the singing in a one-man choir due to the Covid 19 restrictions. Cedric da Costa, founder organiser of the mass thanked Fr Rodrigues and Fr Cardozo and also all those who participated to organise the mass.
