A revamped website of the Goa Information Commission gsic.goa.gov.in was launched on Wednesday by Vishwas Satarkar, Chief Information Commissioner in the presence of State Information Commissioner Sanjay Dhavalikar. Vinesh Arlenkar, Secretary and Shashank Thakur, Under Secretary of Goa State Information Commission were also present.
The Right to Information Act, rules framed by the government, judgements and other details rgarding RTI have been uploaded on the website. The SCIC and SIC have till date disposed of 124 cases including appeals, complaints and penalty matters. The Commission is hearing cases regularly in both sessions and is working towards maximum disposal of cases.
