Konkan Railways 30th Foundation Day Award Distribution Ceremony was held on February 17 at KR Community Hall Madgaon. KRC said the progress and growth of the organization cannot be achieved without the contribution of its employees. Awards & commendation certificates were presented to 47 Officers and staff of Konkan Railway for their commendable service towards the organisation.
The foundation day is celebrated every year on a grand scale as a mark of honouring employees. But this year due to the COVID pandemic the celebration was held through a virtual platform on October 15 last year. And as a follow, an award distribution ceremony was held Wednesday at Margao. Chairman & Managing Director Sanjay Gupta, Director Finance R M Bhadang, General Manager (Strategic Planning and Business Development) Joseph E. George, Chief Personnel Officer, K K Thakur, Regional Railway Manager, Karwar, B.B. Nikam, Regional Railway Manager, Ratnagiri Upendra Shendye graced the occasion. Executives and staff actively participated in the ceremony.
