The Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Vidyabhuvan Konkani School and Ravindra Kelekar Dyanmandir, both celebrated their annual prize distribution ceremony and cultural programmes at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao’s Pai Tiatrist auditorium. The associate professor at Goa Medical College, Dr Madhu Ghodkirekar was present at the function as the chief guest along with two ex-students Dr Shen Fernandes and Adityakumar Mandal who were invited as guest of honour. The Ravindra Kelekar Dyanmandir students who achieved academic success were felicitated at the hands of Dr Madhu Ghodkirekar, who shared that he was impressed about the fact that this year’s annual gathering was offered to the covid warriors.School magazine, ‘Sharada’ was released at his hands on this occasion. Anwesha Singbal, president, Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Prashant Naik, chairman, Ravindra Kelekar Dyanamandir, Chetan Acharya, chairman, Vidyabhuvan Konkani School, Anant Agni, heardmaster, Ravindra Bhavan Dyanamandir, Vishal Khandeparkar, headmaster, Vidyabhuvan Konkani School, Ajita Lolayenkar, chairperson of Ravindra Kelekar Dyanamandir Parents-teachers’ Association and Prasad Raikar, chairperson of Vidyabhuvan Konkani School Parent-teachers’ Association were present on the dais. Dr Shen Fernandes and Adityakumar Mandal gave away prizes to students who achieved success in various feats.
