St Anthony’s High School, Monte de Guirim, celebrated National Science Day under the leadership of headmaster Fr Avinash Rodrigues.
A three-day workshop was held in the school from February 24 to February 26 on ‘skill of conducting science practicals effectively’, giving an opportunity for teachers to upgrade their knowledge and skill. Teacher Genevieve Braganca was the resource person.
On February 27, well-known agriculturist Miguel Braganza gave a talk and had an interactive session on urban organic gardening and the use of bio-control agents. The school is planning to start its vegetable garden.
