MARGAO: Navelim Sporting Club got the better of Benfica YC Baina 4-2 to enter the quarterfinals of the 41st Areal Panchayat cup inter-village football tournament played at Padribhat football ground on Saturday.
Noah Luis, Prestly Gomes, Melistan Dias and Selvin Gomes scored for Navelim Sporting Club while Sachin Borkar netted brace for Benfica YC. Melistan Dias of Navelim Sporting Club was declared Man of the match.
