Navratri Utsav that began at Sal Bhumika temple with Ghatasthapana or Kalashpujan and first garlanding is followed with religious rituals, puja, aarti, tirthprasad in the morning and ghumat aarti in the evening. The local bhajan artists present bhajans at night.
The Ghatasthapana and first garlanding was done by host Dipak Raut under the guidance of purohit Sadashiv Gadgil. The temple will be celebrating Dussehra on October 25. The celebrations are kept simple this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Most of the temples in Goa have cancelled the festive celebrations while some have kept them low Key and modest.
