Tereza Peidade D'Sa, mother of Nuvem constituency MLA Wilfred D'Sa passed away peacefully at her Dongorim-Nuvem residence early Tuesday. She was 85 years old.

 Political leaders, social workers and citizens from all walks of life called on D'Sa to offer condolence messages.

The funeral is scheduled to be held on Wednesday at Jesus-Maria-Jose Church, Nuvem.

Konkani writer to be interviewed at KBM’s reading club session on Nov 11

PANAJI The next session of Konkani Vachan Vishwa, reading club of Konkani Bhasha Mandal, will be held on 11 November at 5 pm. The session will see interaction with senior writer Meena Kakodkar. Youth writer Brijesh Shet Desai will interview the senior writer. Young storytellers Prutha Bandekar, Anvi Naik and Sara Pagi will present children's stories of the author during the programme.
