Government High School Morpirla celebrated Poshan Maah to improve nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls. The Headmistress Morena Miranda opened the Healthy Fun Zone for students and parents and during PTA meeting she explained about good food and bad food and the needs for balanced diet. Under Poshan Vatika parents came in large numbers to grow saplings of nutritious fruit trees, local vegetables and medicinal plants and herbs. Bhojan Dhan was done by giving at least one nutritious meal to needy by students, teachers and parents. There ware also talks on mental health, malnutrition. Government High School Morpirla is the only school from Goa with 11th rank on the National Eat Right School Leaderboard. Headmistress Miranda gave credit to teachers, students and parents for taking part in all activities of Eat Right School.
