Lions Club of Calangute & Leo Club of Calangute in association with Food SOS, Umeed Project and Crypto Relief distributed dry ration to 40 families for one month. The dry ration kit of 25 kg included atta, rice, mixed dal, daliya, sugar, salt, poha, tea powder, lal mirch, haldi powder, dhaniya powder, cumin, biscuits and sanitary napkins. Lions Club President Lion Murtaza Matheranwala thanked Food SOS, Umeed Project and Crypto Relief for providing dry ration kits. "We have distributed these kits to the neediest people of the region whose livelihood has been worst hit by this pandemic. Our Club is trying its best to reach out to provide support to vulnerable individuals and families. We also gave kits to St Joseph's Old age home Calangute, " Matheranwala said.
