State Bank Institute of Learning and Development, Panaji and SBI Administrative Office, Panaji jointly organized the Beach Walkathon and Beach cleaning activity at Miramar Beach on Saturday. The event was organized for spreading awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle in today's stressful working environment. SBI dignitaries and other staff wholeheartedly participated in cleaning of Miramar beach as a part of the event which was organized with the motto-- Our Goa, Clean Goa.
The event was flagged off by Dipak Lalla, Chief General Manager, SBI- Maharashtra & Goa Circle, and Sukhavindar Kaur, General Manager, SBI- Network-1, Maharashtra & Goa Circle. Navin Kumar Gupta, DGM, SBI- Panaji AO and Alok Kumar Chaturvedi, DGM & CDO, SBI- Maharashtra & Goa Circle were also present to grace the event.
Dipak Lalla, CGM- SBI, emphasised that SBI as a responsible corporate citizen has adopted sustainability as one of the organizational values and is always at the forefront in undertaking such activities that creating awareness about preserving a clean and green environment. While thanking the dignitaries and the gathering, Shirish Wajpe, Director & AGM, State Bank Institute of Learning and Development (SBILD), Panaji said that SBILD, Panaji shall strive to be an important institution of learning in Goa and shall contribute to academic as well as social wellbeing of the local community in Goa in various ways.
