SP Shobhit Saxena relieved of duty

A fortnight after the Ministry of Home Affairs transferred Superintendent of Police (North Goa) Shobhit Saxena to Jammu and Kashmir, the Goa government on Wednesday ordered relieving him from the State Administration. The order comes into effect from November 22, 2022 in order to join his new place of posting. SP (Crime Branch) Nidhin Valsan has been given the charge of North SP along with his present post.

PANAJIState Election Commission has notified reservation of wards for the 3 panchayats of Alorna, Casarvarnem and Chandel-Hassapur which will go for elections on December 9. The reservations are - Alorna “ Total wards 7. Ward 1 (SC), Ward 5 (OBC) and 2, 6 and 7 (women). Casarvarnem “ Total wards 5. Ward 1 (OBC) and 4 and 5 (women). Chandel-Hassapur “ Total wards 5. Ward 4 (OBC) and 2 and 5 (women).
