South Goa district Magistrate, Egna Cleetus has issued an order for the temporary closure of road from KTC Bus Stand, Fatorda to Old Market Circle Fatorda w.e.f. 23/09/2026, to 10/10/2026. The order has been issued to facilitate work on of beautification from KTC Bus Stand to Old Market Circle in Fatorda which is being executed by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd after the contractor requested ermission for temporary closure of road and diversion from KTC Bus Stand Fatorda to Old Market Circle Fatorda. Traffic police has informed that the Magistrate’s order will be implemented from Wednesday A senior official said traffic on the route will be partly diverted to carry out the work.
