Ten Covid deaths, positivity @ 10.48%

Goa recorded 10 Covid deaths on Tuesday taking the total to 2947. Out of 3120 samples tested, 327 were found to be positive bringing the positivity rate to 10.48 per cent. There were 548 recoveries and the active count has reduced to 4175. The recovery rate stands at 95.63 per cent.

GUJ election postponed by a month

PANAJI The annual GUJ General Body meeting and election of the new GUJ executive committee 2021-2023, scheduled in June 2021, has been postponed by one month due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision was taken at the GUJ executive committee meeting recently. The AGM, election date and schedule will be announced in the first week of July 2021, stated the GUJ press note.
