A mango tree fell on the power lines at Santan in Curca on Friday night, bringing down poles with it and affecting the power supply in the area and its surroundings. St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar, who was personally supervising the work of restoring the power supply, informed that four power poles were damaged in the incident. “All the four power poles were replaced and the power supply in the affected areas was restored by late Saturday evening,” Borkar added.
